If we’ve learned anything during the pandemic, it’s that there’s significant and positive power in creating a virtual community. #Proud3Mer has been one of those impactful virtual moments for 3Mers.

In early April, 3M’s Enterprise Operations organization launched an internal and external recognition campaign for 3M’s global manufacturing and distribution employees. Through the use of #Proud3Mer on LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and internal communication channels, 3Mers showed their support and gratitude for 3M’s supply chain employees who are committed to reporting to work to serve our customers and communities during the pandemic.

“It was amazing to watch 3Mers around the world come together virtually to recognize their colleagues who give so much every single day to meet the needs of our customers,” said Eric Hammes, executive vice president of Enterprise Operations at 3M. “The outpouring of support was deeply inspiring. I encourage everyone to share another #Proud3Mer moment in honor of National Manufacturing Day on Oct. 2. While it’s typically a U.S. day of recognition, we want to show our 3Mers in manufacturing across the world our appreciation and gratefulness for everything they’re doing.”
