3M today announced that Chinmay Trivedi has been appointed senior vice president, investor relations and financial planning & analysis.

Bruce Jermeland, senior vice president, investor relations, has announced his intention to retire, effective January 1. Moving forward, 3M will combine the investor relations and financial planning and analysis functions under the leadership of Chinmay Trivedi.

Trivedi’s deep knowledge and experience leading 3M’s financial planning and analysis processes will help provide our investors with insights into our strategy, execution, and results.

Trivedi will report directly to Anurag Maheshwari, 3M chief financial officer. We thank Bruce for his leadership and contributions to 3M during his 28-year career and wish him all the best in retirement.
