This holiday season, 3M is celebrating its partnership with the Minnesota Vikings by delivering innovative comfort and cheer to fans. As the Official Science Partner of the Minnesota Vikings, 3M continues its legacy of enhancing game-day experiences.
On Dec. 29, 3M is helping the Vikings provide in-hand solutions like one-of-a-kind hand warmers, designed to brighten and warm up even the coldest of game days.
Emblazoned with “SKOL,” these exclusive hand warmers are powered by 3M Science. They feature 3M™ Thinsulate™ Insulation to keep hands warm and 3M™ Scotchlite™ Reflective Material for added visibility during dark winter evenings — combining safety and Viking pride.
The hand warmers have already made their debut at key community events, such as the Winter Wonderland event held at the Vikings Museum on Dec. 17. This event, presented by 3M, will benefit about 100 deserving families through partnerships with People Serving People and The Link, two organizations dedicated to supporting families in need in the Twin Cities.
They’ll make their biggest appearance yet at the Vikings vs. Packers matchup at U.S. Bank Stadium Dec. 29, where the first 40,000 fans through the gates will receive this warm gift.
Beyond the hand warmers, 3M’s influence is woven into a variety of aspects on Vikings game days, with over 50 3M products contributing to the design and construction of U.S. Bank Stadium, a sensory safe space offering a haven for fans with sensory sensitivities and consumer solutions helping players return from injury.
“This partnership is about more than just game-day experiences — it’s about showing how 3M Science improves lives,” said Ally Fernholz, Corporate Sponsorship Leader at 3M. “Collaborating with our divisions and 3Mgives allows us to impact our community and demonstrate why 3M is the Official Science partner of the Minnesota Vikings.”
Through our material science enhancing fan experiences on game days, 3M is committed to delivering warmth, light, and community impact this holiday season and beyond.
