3M today named Matthew J. Ginter, treasurer and vice president, Investor Relations, effective July 1. He will report to Nicholas C. Gangestad, senior vice president and chief financial officer.
“Matt is an exceptional leader whose financial market experience, strategic thinking skills and knowledge of the company qualify him well to lead our treasury and investor relations organizations,” said Gangestad.
A 25-year 3M employee, Ginter most recently served as vice president, Investor Relations. Previously, he was director, Financial Planning and Analysis. Ginter holds a bachelor’s of science degree and an M.B.A. from the Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota.
