Designed specifically for fiberglass ladders, the recently released ladder kit from 3M enables easier installation for service providers and line workers conducting line-splicing operations in aerial applications.
Traditionally, rig equipment was secured by screws directly into the side rails of wooden ladders. The new ladder kit from 3M enables a safe, secure, rig attachment to fiberglass ladders that is easier for the technician or craft person to use.
The new Ladder Kit 710/MS2-TMK-LK from 3M includes clamp assemblies that attach to the ladder rung, a flat-sided ladder bar, the A6L extended tube with swivel knob that works with many types of splicing accessories and a 6 mm hex key as well as instructions in a sturdy carrying case.
Designed to work with the 710 Splicing System, the MS2 Splicing System and the Fiber Splicing Workstation from 3M, the new ladder kit is portable, lightweight and designed for secure attachment of rig equipment to fiberglass ladders.
