3M announced today that its Vikuiti polarizing lens products for sunglasses are now available to all converters and manufacturers worldwide looking to reduce glare and block UVB/UVA with a scratch-resistant, lightweight and flexible lens.
Vikuiti VP sunglass polarizing lens products deliver the look, feel and durability that manufacturers demand for their customers. The products, which previously were supplied exclusively, absorb glare to provide a clear view in ultrahigh ambient light conditions. In addition to the typical colors of gray, tan and amber, custom colors and widths are available for specialty applications.

Multiple optical grade films are sold in standard reel widths, lengths and thickness that can be die-cut, formed and profiled. Vikuiti VP sunglass polarizing lens products feature high percentage yields during processing and will accommodate hole punching and riveting. Protective films on each reel help minimize process damage.
