New products expand innovative line, make cleaning easier

3M is pleased to introduce two new extensions to its successful line of commercial cleaning products – the 3M Glass Cleaner and Protector and the 3M Peroxide Cleaner Concentrate. Both products have been specially formulated to cut cleaning time and remove stubborn deposits more easily.

3M Glass Cleaner and Protector is the industry’s first glass cleaner with Scotchgard Protection. With repeated use, a protective layer is built up, making it easier to remove the toughest marks – fingerprints, lipstick and even permanent marker. In addition, it reduces fogging on mirrors and other glass surfaces, leaving behind an incredibly crisp reflection. 3M Glass Cleaner and Protector Concentrate 17L is Green Seal GS-37 certified in the 3M Twist ‘n Fill format as a glass and multi-surface cleaner, and the ready-to-use formula has less than 0.1 percent VOC.

“The new 3M Glass Cleaner and Protector will revolutionize the way we think about glass cleaning products,” said Kevin Tholen, business development manager at 3M. “After routine use, an invisible layer of Scotchgard Protection makes glass and uncoated granite, ceramic and porcelain easier to clean, including porcelain whiteboards. In fact, it is up to two to three times better at cleaning and removing fingerprints when compared to competitive glass cleaning products, based on gloss measurements in a 3M testing laboratory – all with a very pleasant smell.”

The 3M Glass Cleaner and Protector also can be used as a multi-surface cleaner on common surfaces such as stainless steel, chrome, aluminum, plastic and acrylic glass, even though it may not have the same protective qualities.

The 3M Peroxide Cleaner Concentrate is a versatile, no-rinse cleaner that brings the power of peroxide to most washable hard surfaces and carpets. The no-rinse formula provides excellent soil removal, leaving no messy residue behind, and won’t dull or damage surfaces. The newly formulated cleaner is designed to work on a variety of surfaces, including carpets, bathroom floors and fixtures, and ceramic, terrazzo and vinyl composite tiles.

Both the Glass Cleaner and Protector and the Peroxide Cleaner Concentrate also are compatible with 3M’s popular Twist ‘n Fill System, designed to accurately mix and dispense product to ensure consistent, effective cleaning performance. Both Twist ‘n Fill concentrates have been Green Seal GS-37 certified.
