3M eCAP 7830N series products are designed for EMI gasket shielding applications in electronic components and assemblies where good electrical conductivity, shielding and shock absorption are required. 3M’s proprietary technology employed in this product represents a breakthrough in pressure-sensitive-adhesive tape and conductive gaskets.
This new conductive fabric laminate from 3M aligns conductive filler in three-dimensional structures throughout the adhesive and allows for excellent electrical conductivity in all three axis while retaining superior adhesion and compression performance.
Typical applications are in digital display devices such as mobile handhelds, digital still cameras, and liquid crystal display televisions.
Available in rolls or as die cut pads, the eCAP material comes in thicknesses of 0.2, 0.3, 0.4 and 0.5mm. The material has single-sided adhesion and is repositionable.
