Dyneon, one of the world's leading fluoropolymer producers, has been re-certified as ISO 9001:2000 compliant at its U.S. facilities after a multilocation audit by DQS USA, a global registrar in independent third party management system certification. According to Dyneon LLC Quality Manager Susan Wheeler, DQS has recommended Dyneon's Oakdale, Minn., Aston, Pa., Houston, Texas, and Decatur, Ala., facilities for continued registration.
"This ISO re-certification confirms Dyneon's consistent focus on quality management through fulfilling customer requirements, process orientation, determining and implementing measurements systems and methods, and continual improvement," Wheeler said. "The DQS auditors noted Dyneon's commitment to customer satisfaction and continuous improvement at all levels of the organization."
Dyneon facilities have consistently earned quality recognition ratings since 1996, when ISO certification procedures began at the Decatur, Ala., and Gendorf, Germany, facilities. In 1997, Dyneon's locations in Neuss and Kelsterbach, Germany, received ISO 9001 certification, with the balance of Dyneon's worldwide locations achieving certification in 1998.
