Yard Advantage, a module in the HighJump Supply Chain Advantage suite, has been enhanced with key functionality to support customer requirements for graphical yard management, yard security, inventory visibility, dynamic appointment scheduling and real-time location tracking of trailers across multiple yards. Yard Advantage's notable configurability allows customers to change workflows easily in order to optimize productivity and meet shifting order demand. • Real-Time Location Tracking: HighJump provides the ability to perform real-time location tracking with Yard Advantage. This automates and streamlines workflows while giving users exact positions of equipment in the yard, eliminating time-consuming searches for misplaced trailers.
• Multi-Yard Support: Yard Advantage now allows users to oversee yard activities across their company's entire network, whether yards are local or around the country.
• Dynamic Appointment Scheduling: As trucks arrive, they can be routed quickly to the appropriate dock door based on current availability, the arrival of other shipments, and inventory-specific receiving requirements.
• Security: Warehouses, yards and staff members are kept secure through real-time visibility into trailer whereabouts and verified appointment check-in/check-out.
