The company has produced a sample circuit to demonstrate 3M's advanced design and manufacturing capabilities in providing one- and two-metal layer solutions for LCD-TFT and LCD module Chip on Flex (CoF) and Chip on Glass (CoG) display applications. The company produces one-metal layer circuits at 35 micron pitch and two-metal circuits at 60 micron pitch in volume production. Prototypes are produced as low as 30 micron and 50 micron pitch for one- and two-metal circuits, respectively. An interactive demo on the Web site enables designers to see extreme close-up photography of the circuit features.
Visitors can request a sample of the one-metal layer circuit online to help them evaluate 3M flexible circuits for their new or existing display applications.
