3M Office Supplies Division announced today a collaboration with Microsoft that establishes the famous Post-it brand more firmly in the digital world. Post-it software notes bring simple desktop solutions to Windows XP users as part of the new Microsoft Partner Pack, which also includes applications from other technology leading companies, such as PayPal, Google, Corbis, Sandlot Games and Plaxo.

The Microsoft Partner Pack provides free downloads in three top categories: productivity, media and games. The Microsoft Partner Pack for Windows XP includes the new 4.0 version of Post-it software notes lite, which provides users many useful features and benefits. By setting note alarms, users are reminded of key appointments, tasks or birthdays by a Post-it note that pops up onto their desktop. Creating notes that can even include photos and Web links allows users a simple way to organize their thoughts and keep important information on hand. Users can further customize, organize and manage their notes when upgrading to the Standard Edition or the Professional Edition. The Professional Edition lets users write notes by hand on a Tablet PC, and e-mail digital Post-it notes to friends and coworkers.
