The 3M Microinterconnect Systems Division (MSD) headquarters in Austin, Texas, has received ISO 9001:2000 certification for design, development, deployment and management of global business processes for commercialization of flexible microinterconnect circuits. TUV Rheinland of North America is the independent certification body which handled the conformity assessment for MSD in Austin.
This means that now all laboratory, manufacturing and administrative facilities of this 3M division, located in Eau Claire, Wis.; Columbia, Mo.; Kimitsu-city, Japan; Singapore; and headquartered in Austin, are certified to ISO 9001.
