ST. PAUL, Minn. & SCHAAN, Liechtenstein--(BUSINESS WIRE)--3M and Ivoclar Vivadent announced today that they have settled their
respective lawsuits in Germany and the U.S.
The Ivoclar Vivadent suits alleged that 3M FiltekTM composite
dental restoratives infringed its patents. Ivoclar Vivadent voluntarily
withdrew its German and U.S. patent infringement suits against 3M
prompting the settlement. These actions settle a six-month lawsuit
between the parties.
