SALT LAKE CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--3M Health Information Systems announced today the successful go-live of a comprehensive suite of 3M coding, compliance, and data analysis software at Naval Hospital Pensacola in Pensacola, Fla., the first site of the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Military Health System's Coding Compliance and Editor project. After an initial performance period, the DoD Military Health System plans to roll out 3M software and services to approximately 500 military hospitals and clinics worldwide.

3M's fully integrated system of software products and consulting services is being used by the DoD Military Health System to establish enterprise-wide procedures for accurate patient coding and data management.
