HighJump Software, a 3M company, a global provider of adaptable supply chain execution solutions, today announced that Mutual of Omaha is leveraging HighJump Warehouse Advantage as a key component of its on-demand printing initiative. Mutual of Omaha, a provider of insurance and financial products, uses the HighJump warehouse management system (WMS) in its Omaha, Neb., printing facility and distribution center to print 70 percent of its orders on demand, allowing for minimal inventory levels.
Mutual of Omaha has been a HighJump Software data collection system customer since 2001. Fast growth, increasing complexity and lean goals prompted the company to implement HighJump Warehouse Advantage to achieve further efficiencies in the management of printed materials, including letters, forms and marketing collateral.
With the new system in place, Mutual of Omaha has achieved greater than 99 percent order fulfillment accuracy and has attained its goal of building a lean distribution center. HighJump Warehouse Advantage integrates seamlessly with Mutual of Omaha's ERP, multiple order management systems, material handling equipment and shipping software. The HighJump WMS automatically identifies cross-docking opportunities to maximize order-fulfillment speed. Additionally, management visibility capabilities further facilitate this effort through real-time reporting and updates regarding inventory status and order shipments.
